The view of Henry's Bluff with black brush, cenniza, a huge cypress, live oak, milkweed, mountain laurel, native grasses, native walnut, persimmons in the foreground provide perfect natural habitat for all bird species. Crevasses in the limestone make protective shelter for wildlife, large and small. You may find signs of wagon tracks in the dry river bed or small fossils from a million years ago.
Complementing what nature made, you will find man-made additions of a bird bath, winding pathways which surround a long fish pond, two arched wooden bridges, rocked areas of native plants and a waterfall. There is a deep fire pit for chilly evenings outdoors. A fish pond of several varieties of water lilies and natural fish species found in the area.
Late evening or early in the morning, you will note other wildlife quietly searching for food and water. In addition to the birds, deer, a fox, javalena and armadillos have been seen.
